  1. For all those who commented and love this ol classic like so many other grown folk, check out the keynotes original version of “Hold On” that was just added 2 months ago. Truly uplifting and inspiring and beautifully done. Paul Beasley is in rare form. Type in Gospel Keynotes Hold on. Choose the one with the album cover, Ride the ship to zion.

  2. The man playing the bass guitar should be taken to the hospital…because that playing is sick!!!!….sick in a good way lol

Just like in the churches in afro american neighborhoods and areas today , You want here this kind of music , its just a sad genocide of a great culture of music…. Thanks for taking me back “we sometimes forget “

  14. OMG!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS SONG. I had heard this b4 on a gospel tape with multiple songs my parents bought years ago. Once they passed away I lost it and never could locate this song THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS THANK YOU!!!

  15. “He hung there…He hung right there…He done nobody wrong….Still He hung right there”….The most powerful line in the song b/c had He not hung on that cross for our sins, we would not be here today giving His name all the praise! I loved this song as a child, but I appreciate it more now that I know what Willie Neal Johnson & the Keynotes meant….Beautiful!!!
